Finally Jersey Receives Better Recognition Than “The Jersey Shore”

On Sunday the infamous Garden State had inducted a few celebrities into its third annual New Jersey Hall of Fame ceremony. Some of the stars that were inducted are Susan Sarandon, Jack Nicholson, Judy Blume and Danny DeVito. Those are only some amongst the 15 who were inducted in the hall of fame on Sunday.

The event was held at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. The ceremony even included stars to present the awards such as, Buzz Aldrin, Joe Pesci and Bruce Springsteen. The candidates that were selected were chosen by experts in five categories that included general, arts and entertainment, sports and enterprise. There was also voting for the Hall of Fame on njhalloffame.org for the public to select their choices. The Hall of Fame is planning to open a temporary exhibit in Asbury Park this summer. What’s even better about all of this is the rest of the United States now knows Jersey has a little more to offer than what it recently depicted on the “Jersey Shore”.
